Today I was there for Sithu's wedding. During the mass father Ivan told a story, which is one of the best i've heard.
One day a husband told his wife when she made 'lawariya', "I need to tell you something". She replied "yes dear".
Husband: I still remember the first day I visited your house, you made lawariya, but i didnt like lawariya at all. But since you made it and I didnt show I dont like and I ate it. I didnt want to make u sad.
Wife: I dont like to make lawariya too. But after I seeing you eating lawariya very happily I made lawariya every week coz you like it lot though I dont like it. I didnt want to make you unhappy.
:) Both of them were sacrificing for the happiness of the other. The husband ate lawariya for 10 years though he doesnt like to eat, but to make her loving wife happy.
and wife was making lawariya though she doesnt like making it, but her husband is very fond of eating lawariya. This shows they both try to make what his/her partner like. I think even in a marriage life this is key point of being happy with your partner. Today most of the time we expect from our partner to being sacrifice for the things we dont like. But if I, or you can do that sacrifice then the life of the partner will be filled with more happier, thats called love, affection, the true love :)
It is true.....
